Statements of Values
Our
Foundational
Scriptures and
Mission
Our Core Scripture and Doctrine:
Seek first the Kingdom of God and His
righteousness." – Matthew 6:33
Our Driving Force:
"Go into all the world and make disciples
of all nations." – Matthew 28:19
Our Goal for the Body of Christ:
"That they may all be one, just as Jesus
and the Father are one." – John 17:21
Our Heart and Soul:
"Love one another, so that all may know
you are My disciples." – John 13:34-35
The Canon of
Conviction
Discipleship is the standard for every project,
every program, every outreach and every
event.
Relationships form the foundation for every f
unction. No plans are formed, and no vision
pursued unless relationships are first
established and proven. KGM is not an
organization—it is a family.
Considering the aforementioned conviction,
KGM believes that marriage is the bedrock of
all fruitful and healthy ministries, including the
local church.
Every decision must be based on the selfless
litmus test of: Does it benefit others more
than you, me, or the organization and is it
biblically grounded and balanced?
Every event, very outreach, every presentation
must always be multi-racial, multi-
generational, multi-denominational, and
multi-doctrinal.
non-
negotiable.
Other than the non-negotiable doctrines of
the Deity of Christ, the necessity of salvation
by the shed blood of Christ on the Cross for
the forgiveness of sins, the Trinity, the
infallibility of the Word of God in its original
writings, the gifts of the Spirit, eternal
salvation determined upon one’s
acceptance of Christ through faith, and
eternal judgment, KGM refuses to split hairs
on denominational or doctrinal distinctives
or nuances. Whether you are pre-tribulation,
mid-tribulation, post-tribulation or
amillennial in your eschatology, is
determined by your own convictions. It will
not be enforced by KGM.
Whether you lean toward Calvinism or
Arminianism is determined by your own study
of the Bible and leading of the Holy Spirit. It is
not an issue to KGM if it doesn’t turn into a
spirit of argumentation or divisive debate.
KGM will be intolerant of those who choose to
bring division into the Body of Christ. We are
not of Paul, Peter, Apollos, John Calvin,
Jacobos Arminias, or any current or past
theologians of note, but of Jesus. For now, we
all see in part and prophesy in part. No one
knows it all. Grace, love and tolerance must
be extended to those we doctrinally disagree
with, as long as we agree on the non-
negotiable doctrines mentioned above.
Everyone must be subject to authorities other than themselves,
and the KGM leadership is no exception. We believe in submission. Authority is not granted or recognized unless submission to
authority is proven.
KGM lives to serve. We believe in giving ourselves away, in serving others, in putting others first, in promoting others, in investing in people more than programs, and in preaching a gospel that encourages others. We will never devolve into fighting or criticizing others or other ministries to make ourselves look more important.
The institutions of marriage and family are the foundation for a healthy church, and they will continually be encouraged, taught and strengthened.
The message of the Kingdom of God, what God does through the Church, outside the confines of the Church, is the principle goal of KGM.
It is the manifest desire of the leadership of KGM that every man, woman, boy and girl, find their place of divine release in their gifts and callings in the Body of Christ, and will do everything possible to see that occur.
It is essential that every minister of KGM live a lifestyle of holiness and godliness as defined by the Bible. An immoral lifestyle will not be tolerated among our leaders.
We strongly encourage our KGM family to in some way maintain a regular financial investment in KGM, whether it be weekly, monthly or annually, in addition to the annual ministerial fee. To not reciprocate financially for the blessings and benefit you receive in being part of a global family is not biblical, nor does it reflect the heart of Jesus: It is more blessed to give than to receive. In the kingdom of God there are only two types of people, givers and takers. We choose to be givers. The entire ministry is based on giving. To not carry this heart of charity contradicts the purpose of being part of the family.
